Journal Entry: Forget-me-Nots(?)

"Forget-me-Nots(?)

(Pretend there's a picture drawn of a few forget me nots ok)

If you follow the main path in the forest, you'll find some-odds down the road, a bush of seemingly harmless flowers blocking the way. They look strikingly similar to the common Forget-me-Nots, but I have reason to believe they are far from normal. The area around the flowers is always dark and grim, either shrouded in thick clouds or storming. I will visit this area periodically and record the weather, to see if there is a pattern."

(Page next to the illustration is a drawn table.)

"Day 1: Light clouds, looks like it will rain soon.
Day 2: Rain.
Day 3: Rain.
Day 4: Dark clouds.
Day 5: The clouds keep getting darker...
Day 6: It's raining again. The clouds are still dark.
Day 7: Amazing! It was a perfectly sunny day, but as I reached the flowers, it became a raging storm! A storm like no other!
Day 8: Is it possible for clouds to be black? Or are my eyes playing tricks on me?
Day 9: Everything is dark... the clouds, trees, grass, rain... I do not believe I have a way to return.
Day 10: Why should I return? What is the point of this research? I don't care anymore!
Day 11: I don't know why I am still recording when everything is absolutely meaningless.
Day 12: the flowers are illuminated... theyre mocking me right now arent they?
Day 13: i dont care

[When a blacklight is shone onto this page, the following text appears]

"Forget-me-Nots(?) Remember-me-Nevers

These dastardly flowers have the appearance of common Forget-me-Nots, but they are very dangerous! Once their scent is inhaled, you will have forgotten anything you were currently doing, and an uncontrollable wave of depression will wash over you! From apathy to sobbing uncontrollably, the symptoms are different for each person or animal. The effects are small, at first. You're still able to keep your mind in tact, and you might even find yourself wondering why you're feeling so down. But if you do not find a cure soon, you will fall into complete despair, resulting in causing your death with your own hands. And the Remember-me-Nevers, those little rascals.. they'll take over your body while it's still fresh and use it to pollinate and grow more of it's kind. Disgusting!
"

(Written over the table:)

"Luckily, I have found the solution! If you head West from the bush of Remember-me-Nots, you will find a small patch of flowers, which look like Daffodils (I have dubbed them "Laughodils"). They're unmistakable for their soft, golden glow which captivated me in my uncaring state. Once you smell these, you will feel a rush of happiness and what you have forgotten will be remembered! Remarkable!"
