[Well, he was enjoying a nice, peaceful sleep until SOMEBODY jumped on top of him and woke him up immediately. He can barely register what was happening, while she wrapped her arms around him and started yelling in his face.]

[Mabel pads off to the living room, plopping down on the floor by the tree (which by now has lots of little presents from friends underneath it as well as her gifts to Dipper) and waiting like she was told. She is so excited though it's easy to tell when Dipper comes back in. Almost bouncing in her seat...]
[It takes practically no time at all for Dipper to return, with a small, thin box in hand and a big grin on his face. He plops next to Mabel on the floor, and hands his neatly wrapped gift to her.]
It's not much but I think you'll really like it anyway. [And after she takes the gift, he looks around at the presents and gets more comfortable, sitting with his hands between his legs quite casually.]
So.. who's gonna open their presents first? [It's a little weird without their mom and dad around but.. they'll manage somehow.]
Awww I'm sure I'll love it! [She easily accepts it, sitting it in her lap before leaning over to get a really...really large box and passes it to Dipper. It feels pretty heavy too...wonder what's inside! She also doesn't comment on it at all, instead focusing on his question instead.]
Hmm...that's a good question...well, I got to go first last year, so how about you?
[Usually their parents would encourage one of them to go first, their mom cooing about taking pictures of them for the family scrapbook, but with it just the two of them...]

[Carefully setting her gift aside, Mabel gets up.]
[It is such a big box it's at least half the size of Dipper if he were standing. But she's pretty quick! She comes dashing back in, a CERES-roid camera in hand.]
I can't believe I almost forgot to take pictures...
[She sounds downright ashamed of herself, but soon she's plopping back down.]
Exactly! [She grins, lifting the camera to take a picture as he starts pulling off the paper. Under the paper is a cardboard box! She's laughing at the Waddles comment.]
Of course not. Waddles is enjoying the gift I gave him right now!
[It's a ball that you roll, and as it rolls a treat will fall out of one of the holes. It's like a puzzle!]
Hey, as long as he likes it. Running around like that'll probably help out, too. [He'll open and find.. the smaller box. Okay. He looks a bit curious but he'll move onto unwrapping that one now.]
No that's a lie. As he works, she takes pictures, and he finds there are only two more boxes to go through! And when he gets to his present, it's a medium sized clear plastic box full of disposable cameras He's probably got about twenty five of them in there.
[He'll get to his feet and follow after, plopping down beside her with a grumpy frown as he takes the camera from her.
But then he remembers what was in his present and a smile creeps it's way back on his face.]
Heh, okay Mabel. I'm ready when you are. [Pointing the ready camera at her. Unlike her, his present is only one box and when she opens it, she'll find a coupon for one pound of free candy from his shop. When she.. already gets free candy from him anyway.]
